Who we are
Personal data is processed by შპს დიჯითალაიზ (Digitalize LLC), identification code 400419739. Contact: info@digitalize.ge.
What data we collect
Through the consultation form we collect your name, phone, type of business, the service you are interested in and, if you write one, a message. The English form also lets you give an email and a budget. With the form we store when it was sent and, for the Georgian form, the page it was sent from. Without the required fields we cannot review your request.
To protect the site from spam, we briefly use your IP address; it is not stored in our database. For security and operation, our hosting provider records requests in a technical log: IP address, browser type and the page opened.
Why and on what basis
We use the data to review your request: we contact you, answer your questions and, if you wish, agree on working together. If you gave an email, we send a confirmation that we received your request.
The legal basis is Article 5(1) of the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection: reviewing your request, and steps you asked for before entering into a contract. We do not sell the data or use it for advertising.
Who processes the data
Hosting and database: Railway (railway.com). The site and database run on Railway servers in the Netherlands.
Sending email: Mailgun (mailgun.com, part of Sinch). We use its EU region.
The team's list of requests: Notion (notion.com). It receives your name, phone, type of business, service, message and the page the form was sent from.
The team's email: Google Workspace (Google). A notice of each new request, with its details, goes to the team mailbox (info@digitalize.ge).
Data outside Georgia
The Netherlands and other EU countries are on the list of countries with adequate data protection approved by the State Audit Office of Georgia. The USA is not on that list.
Notion stores data in the USA by default. Google may process data in various countries, including the USA. Railway is a US company and, under its data processing addendum, carries out its primary processing operations in the USA. Support for Mailgun is provided by a company in the USA. Your data may therefore be processed in, or accessed from, the USA.
How long we keep it
We keep a request only as long as needed to review it and agree on possible cooperation. We review stored requests in the site's database, Notion and the team's mailbox manually at least once every six months and delete or anonymise those we no longer need.
If we start working together, we keep the data needed for the contract for its term and for as long as the law requires. Providers' technical logs are kept for periods they set.
Your rights
You can ask for information about how we process your data, see it and get a copy, and ask for it to be corrected, its processing stopped, or for it to be deleted or blocked. Write to info@digitalize.ge; we reply within the time limits set by law.
When you ask for deletion, we delete your request from the site's database, Notion and the team's mailbox. Providers' technical logs are kept for periods they set.
You may complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia (sao.ge) or a court.
Cookies
On public pages the site uses only a language cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that keeps the site language for the browser session. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Team members who sign in to the admin area get a sign-in cookie valid for up to 14 days.
Changes
When we update this policy, we change the date on this page.
